His charisma and positive body language is more than evident, and his voice is upbeat - beyond confident. You can tell right away that is he open to new ideas and he eloquently and naturally engages you in conversation.

And, if you haven’t met Michael Hecktus, then you really should.

Today, April 15, 2014, the New Age Performance Group announced that the former Masters Bodybuilding Athlete and current resident of Stratford, ON will take the position as Head of Athlete Relations.

The New Age Performance Group are the makers of a new mouthpiece that is now being used by literally thousands of athletes in Canada, the USA and beyond.

“I am thrilled to be on the team,” says Hecktus during an interview from his home. “Words just can’t describe how good I feel. Rob Charlton, co-owner of the company, says they could not have picked a better person to head up its athlete relations division.

“Michael Hecktus is a relationship builder and one who truly knows how to bring people together on many levels,” says Charlton. “He has a rich history in the bodybuilding world and is simply sound in working with so many athletes in the sports industry. Most of all, he is one who is personable, very professional and is committed to the very community he lives in. Since the early 1980’s Hecktus has been an avid gym rat, as they say, and as recently as 2012 he became a household name as a leading bodybuilder in the over 50 age category, showing everyone you’re never too old to get in shape and step on the stage.

He spends his days partnered with a very close business friend and recently launched BIENNE Re-Invented, an ESP Group of Companies that imports writing products for the promotions and advertising industry and ships all across North America.

Michael states, “I like to surround myself with like-minded positive people and the partnership with BIENNE and New Age Performance gave me just that. I live by the code: wake up every morning loving what you do.”

He is also the founder and owner of THE JUMP GROUP, a marketing and advertising agency. His company is an official product agent for many popular brands including Wilson Golf and Nike Golf.
