National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month in September

Drunk, and drugged driving causes too many deaths in America, including other countries, along with the pain, anguish, misery, suffering, and heartache the victim's families experience near, as well as long after the vehicle accident takes place.

For the month of September 2010, a time each year also known as the  National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month, activities are planned, and below you will find some events you may want to attend.

Before sharing that, please watch the video below about drunk driving put out by TAC Communications. If this doesn't get to you, nothing will. Please be warned the piece is graphic, but very emotional, and the song by REM is very sad, especially for those listening that have lost a loved one from a drunk driving accident, or even death from drugs period. Many people have seen this video ad, but it is a fitting reminder to show it again before the upcoming September 2010 Recovery Month.

"Everybody Hurts." Let's celebrate recovery, and make it a safe one.
