Nation Golf Club’s final nine and dine of the 2014 season is set to go on Sept. 3.

There will be more than $1,000 in gifts for the players and all receive a free round of golf that is valid after 1 p.m. seven days a week until the snow flies.

A shotgun start kicks off the event at 5 p.m. The fee is $45 and includes the nine holes of golf, power cart and a steak dinner.

Poupart Excavation of Rockland is sponsoring the evening.

When golfers take on Nation Golf Club they challenge a par 71/72 track that provides four sets of tee markers so players of all levels feel comfortable.

The course measures 6,005 yards from the blues, 5,735 yards from the whites, 5,045 yards from the greens and 4,750 yards from the reds. Thanks to its steep elevations and well-groomed bent grass greens, Nation Golf Course has been rated one of the most exciting public golf courses in Eastern Ontario.
