Nathan Trapuzzano was gunned down and killed in Indianapolis just one month before his first child was due. On April 3, the New York Daily News reported that Trapuzzano went for his daily walk around 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday when he was killed "in cold blood." Police are now seeking the public's help in hopes of finding the person (or persons) responsible for this tragedy.

"He never had an unkind thought in his head. He was so in love wife his wife, Jennifer, and unborn baby daughter, Cecilia. He was so excited about being a new Daddy," his family said in a statement (via the New York Daily News).

Nathan Trapuzzano was found shot in the abdomen in the parking lot of a tire company. He was rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery but he could not be saved. Authorities say that Trapuzzano died at 7:40 p.m. that same day.

Police are looking for two suspects, one whom they believe to be the gunman and another believed to be an accomplice (a lookout). A motive is unknown at this time but if police can find the suspects, some answers might become more clear. While this act seems completely random, there might be some sort of connection between Trapuzzano and his murderer.

Nathan Trapuzzano married his wife, Jennifer Trapuzzano, less than one year ago. The couple's daughter (to be named Cecilia Marie) is due in May.
