Nathan Griffith and Barbara Evans engaged in a heated debate on last night's "Teen Mom 2."

During the episode, Nathan slammed Barbara, accusing her of getting Jenelle hooked on heroin, which happened when Jenelle was dating Kieffer and not even communicating much with Barbara.

The accusation was heavy and everyone watching was completely taken aback and disgusted that Jenelle's boyfriend would make such outrageous allegations against her mother -- and that he would be so disrespectful as to scream at her.

Clearly, this guy isn't the guy Jenelle painted him out to be when they first met, but after learning of his past, which included several run-ins with the law and his having lost custody of his child, no one expected any different.

Still, Nathan is trying to get back to his "good guy" image, if he ever really had one.

According to a March 12 report by Wetpaint Entertainment, Nathan has since issued an apology.

"Anything that was said or done in tonight's show, regardless who was right or wrong, it was embarrassing for me to do," Nathan tweeted.

Jenelle also spoke on the situation, issuing a sort-of apology to fans. "I'm sorry but my mom constantly use to rag on [Nathan] all the time, I was so sick of hearing it," she explained.
