The beloved rapper Nate Dogg, Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, best known by his stage name will be remembered on Saturday, March 26, at the Spruce Goose Dome in Long Beach. Nate Dogg’s sister, Pamela Hale-Burn a reporter for the Long Beach Telegraph has kept the fans up to date on the situation and the entire family has been sensitive to include the fans in their planning. On Twitter Tuesday, Hale Burn used Twitter to let fans know they will be welcome at some of the functions planned this week.

According to the Wikipedia, Nate Dogg was born in Long Beach and began singing as a child in the New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach. At the age of 16 he dropped out of high school and left home to join the United States Marine Corps serving for several years.
The talented performer was nominated for four Grammy awards, but he didn’t receive a win. Known for some amazing music lyrics, Nate Dogg was always on the top of his game, even when life wasn’t looking to be the best in his personal life. Nate Dogg died on March 15, 2011 in Long Beach, California of congestive heart failure and the world lost an amazing rapper. The famous rap songs ‘Regulate,’ the Grammy-nominated song he recorded with Warren G., and ‘The Chronic’ with Dr. Dre are instant favorites of Nate Dogg.
The services on Saturday will be honoring Nate Dogg. They will be at the Spruce Goose Dome (also known at the Long Beach Cruise Terminal.) There will be no cameras allowed and the starting time is 10am so allow plenty of time for parking, security and the like so you won’t be late. According to several sources in the entertainment business we know, there will be no tolerance for the cameras and the service at 10 a.m. Saturday service will be limited, with a large volume of people expected do arrive early. The public funeral repast will be at 7 p.m at the Spruce Goose Dome as well.
