Nassau Police release sketch of robbery suspect

Nassau County police are seeking the public’s help to find a man they say is responsible for a robbery that occurred last month at a bus stop at the Green Acres Mall.

The incident, police said, occurred around 4 a.m. on Dec. 23, when the suspect was at a bus stop on the property of the Green Acres Mall.

Detectives allege he “did forcibly steal” the victim’s jewelry, an iPhone and assorted personal property, according to a crime stoppers advisory. Police said the man fled the scene in a dark-colored older-model Honda.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or may have information about the robbery is urged to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-224-TIPS.
