We've written several articles about the Nashville Zoo and it's that time again, to let our senior citizens know about the free admission day which is being sponsored by one of the local healthcare companies in Nashville. We found on the Nashville Zoo web page, the following information about this big event:
'We're proud to partner with Cigna-HealthSpring to offer a free admission day for seniors.
Anyone 65 or older will receive free Zoo admission on Oct. 7, 2013.'
We have told you in past articles about the 'Clouded Leopard Cubs' and about the 'Giant Anteater Pups' all of which were born at the Nashville Zoo.
You can follow the Nashville Zoo on their Facebook page, or on Twitter at @NashvilleZoo. One recent Tweet stated:
'Nashville Zoo is not affected by the federal government shutdown.
We are operating as normal and appreciate your continued support.'
