Nashville, Tennessee Detectives suspect foul play may be involved in the disappearance of a 37-year-old Nashvillian, who has not been heard from since Friday afternoon, May 23, 2014.

Nichole Renea Burgess was reported missing by a female friend on Sunday. Upon investigation, officers found Burgess’ car with a purse inside at her 923-B Oak Vale Drive home in Hermitage, Tennessee.

Burgess’ two dogs were inside the residence. "I know her," says a friend. "She would have never just left her animals or her son." Family and friends say she would have boarded the pets if she intended on being away for an extended period of time.

Nichole Burgess is 5’1” tall, weighs 126 pounds, and has red, shoulder length hair and green eyes. Anyone seeing her on the afternoon of Friday, May 23rd or afterward is urged to contact the Emergency Communications Center at 615-862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
