Nashville TV Show: T Bone Burnett on Quitting 'Nashville'

One of our favorite Nashville TV shows is actually the 'Nashville' TV show, named after this city of the same name, and the show is quickly becoming the 'in' place to appear for many of the Nashville singers, songwriter and entertainers.

'Nashville', which is written by Callie Khouri, had T. Bone Burnett (her husband) as the musical director in its first season, but he left before the second season began filming. With the attached video we hear more about him in 'T Bone Burnett on Quitting 'Nashville''.

We have seen several entertainers appear on the show, sometimes in a 'cameo' appearance, such as when Vince Gill appeared, or as a performer, such as when Brad Paisley appeared. In an upcoming episode we will be seeing the very first American Idol TV show winner, Ms. Kelly Clarkson, as she is said to be recording one of the songs written by one of the songwriters on the show.

Many folks in Nashville (the city) have had an opportunity to appear in the 'Nashville' TV show as 'extras', with the filming company putting out a call for people to come and be in the audience or play bit parts on the show.

Watch the attached video and leave us a note to let us know if you like the TV show and hope it will continue with some good music, even though the original music director, T. Bone Burnett is no longer with the show.

'Nashville' TV show appears on ABC, Channel 2, WKRN, in Nashville, on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. CST.
