Following the airing of episode 12 on “Nashville,” the trailer for the next episode, “It's All Wrong, But It's All Right” was aired. On Jan. 23, Wetpaint previewed episode 13 and it looks amazing. Here is the synopsis for the episode:
“Jeff is expecting Juliette to formally apologize for her behavior during her Grand Ole Opry ceremony, but at the last minute she has a change of heart and decides to standby the choices she's made. Luke introduces Rayna to a power player that could help her get her distribution deal off the ground, and then surprises her with a NASCAR that is wrapped in Rayna Jayme's graphics. Deacon is discovering his record deal might not be what he expected and Scarlett's collaboration with Liam gets off to a rocky start. Will and Layla discover they aren't all that different and find comfort in one another's company and Teddy will stop at nothing to reveal Lamar's connection to Peggy's death.”
Let’s take a closer look at what all of that means. Juliette’s crises du jour was caused by an out of context quote that made it appear as if Juliette didn’t believe in God. After some consideration and a little prayer in a church, Juliette asked Avery to help her write a song. While She has known to be defiant when she shouldn’t be, it’s possible her song will be one that strikes an apologetic chord or exposes the fact that she does have faith.
Rayna was reluctant to go public with her relationship with Luke Wheeler but she relented. She may not be thrilled by the NASCAR covered with her name.
Deacon, who is dating a lawyer, signed a recording contract that he was at first leery of. If he’s having second thoughts, it makes you wonder why he didn’t ask his girlfriend to look it over. Liam working with Scarlett is bound to be trouble. Their personalities will mix like water and oil.
Probably the most titillating news concerns Layla and Will. What revelations will there be and what do they have in common? As for Teddy and the Lamar/Peggy murder plot, it almost seems like old news. Hopefully it wrap[s up quickly and we can put that behind us.
“It's All Wrong, But It's All Right” will air as season 2’s episode 13 on Jan. 29 on ABC when “Nashville” returns.
