"Too Far Gone" - Juliette's new song, "Don't Put Dirt on My Grave Just Yet," catches the ear of a high-powered, hit-making producer, Howie V (Michael Chernus, "Orange is the New Black"). He wants to make her a superstar and brings her to Los Angeles to record, but marginalizes Glenn in the process. Meanwhile, Rayna takes charge with stoicism in the aftermath of recent events, and Scarlett feels lost and alone but finds Liam to be a receptive confidante, on "Nashville.
Juliette is having problems with Jeff and her record label. In the promo for the episode, It sounds as if Jeff cuts her loose form the label. That is probably where this new character, Howie V, comes in.
From the promotional pictures released, it looks as if Rayna, Tandy, Maddie and Daphne pay a visit to Lamar. The photos are of them visiting both inside and outside his palatial estate. So what exactly is Rayna taking charge of?
Scarlett has been struggling for some time with the demands of celebrity. From the previews, it doesn’t look as if she is getting on very well with Liam and can even be seen taking what looks like a handful of pills. Just how she goes from that to allowing Liam to become a receptive confidante is a bit confusing.
