Last time we watched “Nashville,” Scarlett (Clare Bowen) had a jaw-dropping meltdown right there on stage. E! Online shared an exclusive sneak peek for the episode, aptly titled "Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad," on April 29. We can’t show you the video but we can tell you all about it.
Rayna’s budding little songstress ran into some trouble. The crazy schedule and stress of the job forced her to turn to the dark side and she started popping pills a few episodes back. When Mama showed up at her Chicago tour date, Scarlett came off the rails, mixing pills with booze. The end result was her cowering under the piano on stage in front of a packed house and mumbling gibberish.
Now her friends and family are busy pointing fingers and laying blame for what happened to her. Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) get into it pretty good, too. According to the sneak peek, Rayna starts it off by suggesting that Deacon’s past problems with addiction have somehow enabled Scarlett to start using.
"Hey, since Scarlett's been staying at your house, have you noticed her drinking a lot or taking pills or whatever?" Rayna asks Deacon. Naturally, he takes offense and fights back, suggesting Rayna pushed the girl too hard.
They are both concerned for her well-being and simply lashing out. It will become clear pretty quickly who is responsible or a least a contributing party. The clip showing Scarlett arguing with someone in the hospital is very telling.
Rayna also lashes out at Juliette. She was, after all, on Juliette’s tour. It was also Juliette who pushed her to go on stage that night when Scarlett had begged to be let off. Juliette turns to Avery to back her up but he’s busy playing nursemaid to Scarlett much to Juliette’s dismay.
