Nashville's Literary Libations - a monthly writing event

Kafka once said, “Writing is utter solitude, the descent into the cold abyss of oneself.” The literary community in Nashville disagrees. Nashvilleis home to a welcoming and open writing fellowship that meets monthly. Penmonkeys and scribes, authors and readers – the league of lit lovers in Music City comes together once a month to talk books, the craft, and what’s going on inside the publishing world.

Authors River Jordan and JT Ellison began Literary Libations this summer at Union Station Hotel. As the heat ebbs and fall tiptoes in, they are continuing the tradition, but moving the date. For those who have been enjoying or trying to attend the Literary Libations fun at the Union Station Hotel Bar once a month - Please make note:

Lit Lib is moving from the 2nd Tuesday of the Month to EVERY 4th Thursday. No invitation needed. Please feel free to join this gathering of writers, journalists, poets, agents, publicists, book sellers, publishers, creatives, librarians, book readers and lovers of the written word!
