Friday morning, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill released a press release to announce that they will join several other country and western singers to organize a benefit concert for the victims of flooding that occurred a few weeks ago in Nashville.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill joined the list of singers this morning. The concert, called Nashville Rising will take place June 22 in Nashville. Tickets for the Nashville Rising concert went on sale this morning for $25-$75 and will benefit the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee‘s flood relief work.

Several cities and towns in Tennessee received more than a foot of rain over two days which broke records in the area. Thousands of homes, buildings, hotels, and Music City attractions were destroyed during the flash floods.

In Utah, weather forecasters have stated that we are at low risk this spring for flash floods. But flash floods occur quickly and in some cases without warning, so residents are urged to try to be as prepared as possible in case a flash flood strikes.
