The rumors started circulating almost immediately that something was wrong with Razzy Bailey. His family did want to wait until diagnosis and confirmation of what was suspected was true. While Nashville waited and prayed, it was been confirmed by Razzy’s wife Faye that Razzy has had a mild stroke. I don't like to use the word mild because all strokes are serious but as far as strokes go, this could have been much worse.
This is an update for Razzy’s loving and devoted wife Faye: “Razzy wants everyone to know he is humbled with your outpouring of love and prayers. His right side is NUMB ONLY! With quick treatment at Summit Hospital, he will be on the road and in the studio very, very soon. He wants all of you to know he loves you and thanks you for all the prayers. Faye Bright-Bailey.”
She further went on to say that: His speech is perfect and he plans on strumming the Taylor from home today. The doctor said it was the best therapy. I love all of you for sharing your love with this "the kindest, most generous man who I can honestly say, "I never hear a bad word from him or a dishonest word, if he says it you can believe it, A southern gentlemen in 2014.” Amazing, your friend, Razzy’s wife, Faye”
She then had one final message and that is that Razzy is in a specialized care facility getting the therapy that he needs.
Last spring I spent the afternoon with Razzy in his studio and it was a very wonderful experience. You can read that interview/article at: http://voices.yahoo.com/i-spent-afternoon-country-star-razzy-bailey-12142881.html?cat=33
The family is very receptive to prayers of healing for Razzy so he can get back into the studio and back to making music. Please include Razzy in your prayers tonight when you are speaking to the Lord. You can send Get Well cards to: Razzy Bailey, 629 Debbie Drive, Hermitage, TN. 37076
