'Nashville': More romance trouble teased for Rayna and Juliette

"Nashville" is currently on winter break on ABC, and now fans are being given fresh scoop on what is coming up next on the series when it returns. On Thursday, Jan. 2, TV Line shared new comments by Dee Johnson about the series. and more drama is on the way.

Fans will learn right away who died on the mid-season finale. If it is Peggy that died, it will cause new problems for Rayna and Teddy, but Rayna might have her hands full again with Deacon. Dee Johnson teased the possibility of him joining Rayna's record label. This will cause huge problems for the pair if it happens. This couple is far from over though, and Rayna looks to be done with Luke Wheeler.

As for Avery and Juliette, Dee Johnson did tease that the pair 'has something coming up.' Juliette showed up on Avery's doorstep ready to confess she was in love with him, but Scarlett picked that moment to walk out of the bedroom. Scarlett will continue to have issues dealing with Zoe and Gunnar's relationship as well.

Details for the next episode shared by Spoiler TV on Thursday reveal that the death will change things forever on the series. Juliette will have another blow to her career, and Deacon will struggle to write new material while sober. He will have some help during the difficult time.

"Nashville" will return to ABC on Jan. 15.
