Nashville Indie Music: January 30th – February 5th

The week ahead is a unique one, as most venues are closed Sunday for the Super Bowl.  But that still leaves you with Monday through Saturday to get out and hear some live music:

Monday, January 30th  – Chelsea Rae with Morgan Myles and Matt Long at the Exit/In, 7pm – $5.  Shows at the Exit/In are 18 and up.

Tuesday, January 31st – Gaelic Storm with Gene Pool at 3rd & Lindsley, 8pm – doors at 6pm – $15.

Wednesday, February 1st – Music City Roots at the Loveless Café Barn, 7pm – $10, or $5 for students and seniors.  This show also airs live on Lightning 100 or lightning100.com

This week’s lineup features the Lonesome River Band, Darrell Scott, Chris Jones and the Night Drivers, Darin and Brooke Aldridge, and The Special Consensus.

Thursday, February 2nd – The Kansas Bible Company with The Coolin’ System and May Hwen, 8pm – $7 in advance or $10 day of show.

Friday, February 3rd – Ingram Hill with Run with Bulls and Amy Dalley at 12th & Porter, 8:30pm – doors at 8pm – $10.  At 8pm, The Cold Stares will be playing in the lounge.

Saturday, February 4th  – The Dirty Guv’nahs with Cadillac Black at Mercy Lounge, 9pm – $10 in advance, or $12 day of show.

Be prepared to hunt for parking, because at the same time Ani DiFranco is playing The Cannery Ballroom, with opener Pearl and the Beard.  Tickets for that show are $32 in advance, or $35 day of show.
