Nashville Indie Music: January 23rd – January 29th

If you're looking to get out and hear some local music during the week ahead, here are a few shows worth considering:

Monday, January 23rd – 8 Off 8th at Mercy Lounge - free.

This week's show is hosted by Andy Wilmoth, and features Haden Carpenter, Tyrone Carreker, Lewis Brice, Willie Guy and the Lost Maples, Black Market Research, The DanBerrys, The Firecrackers, and The Kansas Bible Company.  8 Off 8th also features $1 off Yuengling - every week.  So, soak that up.

Tuesday, January 24th – Mindy McQ, PeeP SouL, and Jace K. Seavers in the 12th & Porter lounge, 6pm – $5

Wednesday, January 25th – Music City Roots at the Loveless Café Barn, 7pm - $10, or $5 for students or seniors.

This week’s show features all Belmont bands – The Westbound Rangers, The Kopecky Family Band, Shirock, and the Apache Relay.

Friday, January 27th – In The Round with Matraca Berg, Kim Carnes, Barry Dean and Lori McKenna at the Bluebird Café, 9:30pm – $25 – a benefit for Alive Hospice

Saturday, January 28th – Nicolay with The Hot at Nights at The Listening Room Café, 7pm - $5 food/drink minimum per person

Sunday, January 29th – Shut Up and Sing Open Mic Night at The Hard Rock Café’s Reverb Room, 8pm - $5
