Nashville Indie Music: January 16th - January 22nd

It looks like Nashville survived its first “blizzard” of 2012 – so now you can safely plan for your week ahead!  Here are some of the live music options you can choose from:

Monday, January 16th – Evan P. Donohue with Dollfish and Lizzie Conner at The Basement, 10pm - $5

Tuesday, January 17th – In the Round with Sally Barris, Tom Kimmel, and Blue Mother Tupelo at The Bluebird Café, 9pm – A Benefit for Alive Hospice - $10

Wednesday, January 18th – Rob McNurlin, Kenny Vaughn, and Kayton Roberts at the Station Inn, 9pm – $10

Thursday, January 19th – Same as it ever was: A Talking Heads Tribute at the Exit/In, 8pm - $8 in advance or $10 day of show

Friday, January 20th – Mercy Lounge’s 9th Anniversary Celebration, 9pm.  Featuring How I Became the Bomb, Cheer Up Charlie Daniels, Kyle Andrews, Ponychase, Wild Cub (with Keegan DeWitt and members of Pico Vs. Island Trees), and ReLapse.  This event is free!  (The party continues Saturday night with more free local music.)

Saturday, January 21st – G. Love and Special Sauce, with opener Kristy Lee at the Cannery Ballroom, 9pm - $20 in advance, or $25 day of show

Sunday, January 22nd – Sarah Buxton at 3rd & Lindsley, 8pm
