Nashville Flood: Flood cleanup is the fitness trend to follow

It's been a week since I've been to the gym. I'm not even sure if the gym is open. I was one of the lucky ones not directly affected by the Nashville Flood.  I want to take care of myself and working out is important to me and my career, but there are so many people in Nashville that need my time more than me right now.  I decided at the beginning of the week that the best workout would be to volunteer for flood cleanup.  I haven't been doing the taxing debris cleanup but I have been doing what I can to help the flood victims.  My heart goes out to the many who have lost loved ones, property or suffered in this disaster.  I usually spend my days writing, teaching and helping people live a Fit Life through exercise, eating healthy and finding a state of wellbeing.  Having a Fit Life isn't just about fitness but about a balance in your life and knowing where you need to be, when you need to be there.  I encourage everyone here in Nashville to substitute their gym workout time with volunteering to rebuild this city.  It will be a long hard road, but We Are Nashville.
