Craft Brewed with have tap takeover events, some featuring brewery representatives. (PUB)licity will have a Rivertown Brewery tap takeover bringing an event to the Bellevue area.

The Music City Beer Society, the 700 member group aimed at the promotion of great craft beer and beer education, will have two events for their members this week. The first is the Jackalope event at the Pour House, the second is the Good People Brewing Company Night at the Village Pub and Beer Garden in East Nashville.

The concept of Nashville Craft Beer Week, brought about by Rhizome Productions, “is to promote and enhance the growing craft beer culture by increasing beer knowledge and appreciation,” according to Matt Leff, founder and owner of Rhizome. Sponsors include Ajax Turner, Bounty Bev, DET Distributing, the Scene, and ML Rose Craft Beer and Burgers.

This is the second year of Craft Beer Week, and it is more than double in size from last year. The East Nashville Beer Festival is in its third year. If you didn’t get tickets to that event, you are out of luck. The festival sold out in just a few hours. So enjoy the rest of the week with great craft beer.

See you at the pub. Cheers!
