The Nashville City Civitan Club met on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Swett's Restaurant in West Nashville. The meeting was an open discussion to plan upcoming projects including:
- Basketball Tournament ~ The annual basketball tournament begins next Monday.
- Salvation Army Bell Ringing ~ The Nashville City Civitan Club will be ringing bells for the Salvation Army on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011.
- Big Brothers Paper Drive ~ Sunday, Dec. 11 the club will participate in this service project. Personal contributions to Big Brothers are also being requested. If you’re interested, make out your check to Nashville City Civitan, for Big Brothers and mail it to Dale Denny at: 1141 Banbury Lane, Brentwood, TN 37027
A social gathering was also planned for Thursday, Dec. 8 at McCabe Pub on Murphy Rd. to celebrate the holiday season. The last social was at the Gerst Haus in October.
