On the episode teased in these new photos, Juliette will plan a huge surprise party for Deacon's birthday. Rayna will perform, and the episode will feature cameo appearances by several country music stars. Juliette's performance will be ruined by her mother. The party is not the only focus of the episode. The tabloids will go into a frenzy over Rayna's divorce, and her daughters will be caught in the crossfire. Teddy will move forward and bring Peggy on to work in his office.
Connie Britton is the actress behind Rayna on this series, and she revealed what is her biggest challenge is on this series in an interview. She said the following, according to KMBC.com:
"I was getting a little crash course on the two-step, which I really feel like I should know. I should know how to two-step. I spent a lot of time in Austin, Texas. The great challenge of all these things that are really brand new to me, (playing) a character who's supposed to have doing it her whole life."
