NASCAR: Watkins Glen Int'l announces Daytona 500 viewing party

On Wednesday, the Watkins Glen International racetrack in Watkins Glen, NY, announced that it will host a Daytona 500 viewing party for fans to be held at The Glen Club on Sunday, February 24.

Doors will open at noon. For a $10. ticket price (children under 5 are free, and tickets are sold only at the door), fans will be able to view a live broadcast of the Daytona 500 in the environs of the exclusive Glen Club. A buffet will be served, and beverages will be available for purchase at discount prices. Several door prizes will be awarded throughout the race, and a special 50/50 drawing will be held to benefit a local charity.

The Daytona 500 Viewing Party at The Glen Club is a family-friendly event.

Tickets for WGI 2013 season events, including the NASCAR Cheez-It 355 at The Glen, will be available for sale at pre-season prices. Pre-season ticket prices are lower than the normal ticket prices will be after opening weekend, April 21-22, 2013.
