The following is a list of the odds for NASCAR drivers to win the 2014 Quaker State 400, which is being held on Saturday night, June 28th, 2014, at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. The race is on TNT starting at 7:30 pm.
This is only the fourth running of the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky, so there is not a lot of history to go on if you like to bet NASCAR races. I've listed the three previous winners of this race below their odds, for what it's worth.
Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win this week in the Quaker State 400. The Kentucky Speedway is one of the few NASCAR tracks where Jimmie Johnson has yet to win a race, but he's had very few chances to win here.
NASCAR odds for the 2014 Quaker State 400, Jimmie Johnson favored
1. Jimmie Johnson - 4 to 1
Jimmie Johnson is a pretty heavy favorite to win the 2014 Quaker State 400 at Kentucky speedway at odds of 4 to 1. While I agree that Jimmie Johnson is the most likely driver to win this race this year, I can't take 4 to 1 odds on him. That's just too low for almost any NASCAR race.
2. Kevin Harvick - 9 to 2
Not far behind Jimmie Johnson is Kevin Harvick at 9 to 2 odds. Those are low odds on a driver that hasn't won since Darlington back in early April.
T-3. Jeff Gordon - 8 to 1
Jeff Gordon's lone win so far this season was at Kansas.
T-3. Brad Keselowski - 8 to 1
Brad Keselowski's lone win this season was back in early March at Las Vegas. Keselowski won this race in 2012.
T-3. Joey Logano - 8 to 1
Joey Logano has two wins this season and both came back in April at Texas and Richmond.
T-3. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. - 8 to 1
Dale Earnhardt Jr. has wins at Daytona and Pocono this season.
T-7. Kasey Kahne - 12 to 1
Kasey Kahne has yet to win this season. Is he due?
T-7. Kyle Busch - 12 to 1
Kyle Busch won the inaugural running of the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway back in 2011.
T-7. Matt Kenseth - 12 to 1
You have to think Matt Kenseth is going to win at some point this season, but is this the week at 12 to 1 odds? Kenseth is the defending champion in the Quaker State 400, so it might just be.
10. Tony Stewart - 20 to 1
Tony Stewart is 20 to 1 to win for the first time this season.
T-11. Kurt Busch - 25 to 1
Kurt Busch's lone win this season was at big odds at Martinsville.
T-11. Denny Hamlin - 25 to 1
Denny Hamlin's lone win this season was at Talladega.
T-11. Kyle Larson - 25 to 1
Kyle Larson has yet to win in 2014.
T-11. Carl Edwards - 25 to 1
Will Carl Edwards have a flipping good time for the second week in a row? You get 25 to 1 if you think so.
15. Clint Bowyer - 30 to 1
Clint Bowyer's lone win this season was at Charlotte.
T-16. Jamie McMurray - 40 to 1
Jamie McMurray won the all-star race this season.
T-16. Brian Vickers - 40 to 1
Brian Vickers has yet to win this season.
T-18. Greg Biffle, Paul Menard, Ryan Newman - 50 to 1 odds each
No wins yet for this trio in 2014.
21. Martin Truex - 60 to 1
No wins this season.
22. Austin Dillon - 100 to 1
No wins this season.
T-23. Ricky Stenhouse, Aric Almirola, Marcos Ambrose, Danica Patrick - 300 to 1
No wins here this season. Marcos Ambrose ran eighth last week at Sonoma where he was actually favored to win. See hot photos of Danica Patrick here.
T-27. A.J. Allmendinger, Casey Mears, Justin Allgaier - 500 to 1
Any of these three would be a real shock this week.
Field of all other drivers - 300 to 1
