NASCAR Driver Carl Edwards was named the official face of Avon's new fragrance Turn 4XT yesterday which will launch on November 1, 2010. Turn 4XT is said by Avon to embody a masculine strength which "embodies a rush that comes with risking it all for the win." According to Avon "Edwards exudes strength, determination and dedication, three qualities that Avon values highly as a company and for their alliances." Carl Edwards has competed at the Infineon raceway here in the Bay Area.
From Avon: "Turn 4XT makes me feel confident and empowered, which is what racing is all about -- Avon truly captured that desire to win," says Edwards.
"We are thrilled to partner with such an American racing icon," says Bob Briddon, Group Vice President, Marketing, Avon North America. Turn 4XT is a spicy woody fragrance that can be worn during the daytime. The men's fragrance will be on the casual side with a stronger overall fragrance experience. Turn 4XT will be available here in Silicon Valley through local Avon representatives starting on November 1, 2010.
