Danica Patrick was looking for a win or a strong finish in her home state of Arizona during The Profit on CNBC 500, but neither of those things happened. On March 2, Sporting News reported that Patrick confronted Justin Allgaier about an accident that happened during the race.

The wreck happened during lap 171 of the race, and she even told her team over the car radio that Allgaier was the cause of her wreck. She 'wasn't surprised' about the wreck with the way he was driving. This was not the first wreck of the race for Patrick. She had a tire go down on the car, and this caused a second wreck. Allgaier did speak about the accident after the race. He said the following, according to Sporting News:

I tried to leave enough room for them to not have to jam on the brakes and not get wrecked from behind and obviously wasn’t anticipating the inside row checking up as much as they did.

Allgaier passed both of Danica Patrick and David Ragen, and the wreck involved all three cars. It was after the race was over that Patrick walked over to Allgaier. She talked to him behind his car, and the site reported that the conversation was tense. Patrick then left the track without further comment to anyone. She did pop up on her Twitter on Sunday night to send her congratulations to her teammate Kevin Harvick. He won the race.

This is the start of the third week of Nascar competition for 2014, and she has wrecked in the first two races. She wrecked during the Daytona 500 last week. Right now, Patrick is ranked 41 in owner points with the two wrecks to kick off the 2014 season. After this week's race, the points will determine the racing field each week. If Patrick does not do better this week, she could miss some races.

How do you think she will do at the Kobalt 400 in Las Vegas on Sunday?
