NASCAR celebrity driver Kyle Busch may be bad boy but has charity in mind

Celebrity race car Kyle Busch may be a bad boy in the eyes of many who follow NASCAR, but he is a savior in the eyes of many underprivileged children.

On Sunday November 14, 85 kids from the Sunshine Acres Children's Home will be in attendance at the Phoenix International Raceway to see celebrity driver Kyle Busch compete in the Kobalt Tools 500 NASCAR race.

The Phoenix International Raceway donated the tickets to the Kyle Busch Foundation in order for the children at the home to have a wonderful experience watching their hero Kyle Busch race in the event.

It is the second year in a row that Phoenix International Raceway has donated tickets to the Kyle Busch Foundation.

Celebrity driver Busch founded the Kyle Busch Foundation back in 2006, after visiting St. Johns, a children's home near Grand Rapids, Michigan.

After the visit, celebrity driver Busch realized that children who were underprivileged and neglected didn't have the right resources to make sure that they could live in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment.

Very shortly after the visit, celebrity driver Busch created his foundation, so that kids at St. Johns could get the support network that they needed. Soon after, the Kyle Busch Foundation started supporting other children's organizations as well. There are now five children's centers and homes that are supported by the Kyle Busch Foundation.

In addition to the ticket giveaway this weekend, celebrity driver Kyle Busch donated his personal Toyota Tundra truck to be raffled by the Kyle Busch Foundation. The raffle was won by Jonathan Rowe of Columbus, OH. Jonathan is in Phoenix this weekend to pick up the keys to the truck, and to watch and spend time with celebrity driver Kyle Busch.

All proceeds from the raffle went directly to the Kyle Busch Foundation, which netted $60,000 from the event.
