NASA declares war on ET? - Water and this Old House - Lets watch the paint dry!

     I've written past articles about NASA and the U.S.A. planning on bombing the moon through a  Kinetic "bomb".  Friday was the day!  As sick as I was with the flu, I woke up early and saw the action(?)!     NASA TV had the action broadcast  live.   I also watched it, together on local television .   It seemed as though every station was glued to NASA TV.  What a disappointment.!!!  Watching the artists rendition of the impact was more exciting.  It showed an explosion and NASA seemed to enjoy the attention but still maintains that they were NOT "bombing" the moon! The only part which seemed to show anything was the infrared image.  Watching the infrared area glow was about the most exciting part. Without fail, it was shown on local TV stations and was "so exciting"  that these stations quickly switched to regular feed and other news.  Channel 9, KUSA, probably gave this non-event more time than necessary.  Of course you see the NASA team excited about he successful event.  I think I've seen as much excitment watching paint dry!  As funny as it seems, NASA TV has been awarded an Emmy Award for stuff like this!!  I am somewhat confused by the telecast however.  Keep in mind that the bomb was more an impact than an actual bomb.

There was no explosive in the impact, it was on the far side of the moon i.e., no sunlight to show the impact or the 6 mile high plume of dust.   This was as eventful as throwing a rock into the sand in the middle of the night just to see the impact.  So how do you explain the light which blanked out the screen on impact..  On impact of the "bomb" the television screen turned bright.  Why?   When there was no explosion or light?

     NASA admitted that they probably knew more about Mars than they do the moon.  Their mission was to uncover a few points such as to identify the presence of water on the moon, to quantify the amount of hydrogen, to quantify the amount of water and to determine or analyze  what is in the dirt that was blown into space.  The quick results will be know in a few days but it will take weeks to know the final detailed results from LCROSS. 

    I'm puzzled and I am still having a hard time contemplating why NASA insisted on following through and bombing the moon.   Sure, according to NASA's own site, it insists that it is searching for water.  India already discovered water on the moon and even NASA had previosly indicated that NASA has found water on the moon!!  .  According to my interview with Clifford Clift of MUFON who has studied the moon extensively, there have been meteors which have made larger craters and had a larger impact on the moon.  Further he states that the location of the bombing isn't anywhere near a known anomaly or sculpture on the moon.  Given that the impact from LCROSS is nothing to worry about as far as damage to the moon, why do it?  The future of lunar exploration  and lunar building on the moon by the U.S. is totally dependent upon the results of LCROSS, but NASA needed to know more about the exact amount of water.  According to NASA, if they find water in sizable amounts then it may renew an interest in settlements on the moon.  This would prevent NASA from bringing water from the earth  for it's astronauts and any settlements which may be made later!  Hydrogen in the water can be used for future energy needs for lunar astronauts.

What about bombing's effects on the rest of the moon?  There has been much conjecture about moon structures or anomolies  from extra-terrestrials   This is where Clifford Clift seems to shine telling about these anomalies on the moon as a result of satellite pictures from the Clementine Satellite.   Not only Clifford, but many readers have sent me pictures and mentioned the Clementire Site to see other pictures which have blurred, or are otherwise airbrushed.   Conspiracy theorists, with these pictures,  may well have reason to believe there is a government cover-up.   According to Clifford, " . . . the original (Clementine) maps are no longer available and if you ask for a specific photo, NASA can’t find it."   Russia, since the early 1970's, has made claim to structures on the moon!  One reader, John Craig, sent me an email of what may be a 63 mile long vehicle tracks on the moon. 

 So who knows what to believe?  The big bombing of the  moon was nothing more than a big dud!  Ratings  and interest were high for NASA and that alone may be something big for NASA to gain more budget increases for future flights.

     One thing for certain, the current space shuttle is scheduled for retirement soon.  At $79 million for this current escapade and even more for each space shuttle flight, NASA has searched for a new manner in which to explore the universe and it may have found it in the new Robonaut called Centaur.  It reminds me of when the Spanish Conquistadors first landed in Mexico on horseback.  The Aztecs thought that the horses were actually part of the Conquistador's body and there was no differentiation between man and horse.  With NASA's new Centaur will the Aliens think that the man's body is part of the segway  bottom or the 4x4 wheel bottom pictured here?
