CyberConnect2, the studio behind the upcoming “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution,” is working on another new video game. According to a report by VG247 on Jan. 24, Namco Bandai Games launched a new teaser website for a title being made for smart phones. The video game is expected to be revealed in six days based on the Japanese texts from the page.
Along with the aforesaid “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution,” CyberConnect2 also partnered with Namco Bandai Games to worked on the “.hack” and “Tail Concerto” series. The same studio also developed “Asura's Wrath” and “Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle” with Capcom.
CyberConnect2 is currently focused on completing the development of the latest installment from the “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm” series. The upcoming title features a biggest roster from the franchise as more than 100 characters, including a new one created by Masashi Kishimoto just for the video game, will be made playable.
Namco Bandai Games should be releasing “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution” sometime later this year for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America. You can check out the fighting game in action with the gallery on the left side of this article.
The aforesaid smart phone game does not have a formal release date in Japan. The possibility of a western release was also not disclosed.
