The North American release date details have been updated for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.” According to a report from Gamer Syndrome on April 11, Bandai Namco Games declared that more details on the fighting title will be revealed on April 22. Furthermore, the launch date is expected to be announced later this month.
Most of the announcements made so far have been related to the new playable characters. Bandai Namco Games confirmed that the members from the Edo Kages and Akatsuki groups can be controlled in “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.” You can find an image of one of the fighters from the official “Naruto” Video Game Twitter page with the photo on top of this article.
A new exclusive character, Mecha-Naruto, was also made just for the video game. The robot fighter was designed by Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the “Naruto” series, and features many maneuvers similar to the main protagonist of the story. Along with all of the aforementioned characters, the latest video game from the “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm” is going to feature over 100 playable fighters, which is the biggest cast yet.
The sequel also features several gameplay changes. A certain group of characters can now perform Combination Ultimate Techniques while the new Ninja World Tournament mode provides a special battle against three other players where the participants must collect as many orbs as they can. Finally, most of the new stories will be focused on the Akatsuki and Mecha-Naruto.
Bandai Namco Games should most likely reveal more details on the plot and gameplay on April 22. The same publisher has already confirmed that “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution” should be launching in the fall season in Japan. The North American release date could end up being scheduled at around the same window.
