Bandai Namco Games announced some details in regards to a playable demo of the upcoming multiplatform video game, "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution." According to a report from Saiyan Island on May 6, the fighting game can be played in the upcoming Japan Expo 2014 event, teasing that tournaments will be held. The convention is scheduled to take place in France from July 2 to July 6.
The "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution" preview build may be the same as the playable demo that was featured at the Wonder Con event that took place in Anaheim last month. A recent video from the North American convention showed Gaara and Fourth Kazekage using an "ultimate team jutsu" attack. Instead of a specialized versions that many fans expected, it appears that the maneuver is the same generic assault found in the previously-released "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3."
The Fourth Kazekage is part of many new characters that will be added to the roster in the upcoming title. Bandai Namco Games disclosed in the past that the playable fighters should surpass 100 in the fighting game. As a result, fans should finally be able to control popular characters such as the individuals from the Akatsuki and Edo Kage groups.
A downloadable demo has not yet been confirmed for "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution." However, last year's title, "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3," got a trial version before it came out for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Bandai Namco Games may be following a similar plan with the upcoming title.
Sept. is the expected launch month for "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution" on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. CyberConnect2, the studio that developed the previous installments of the series as well as other titles such as "Asura's Wrath," is the developer of the upcoming multiplatform game.
