Napoli exits UEFA Europa League by losing to Viktoria Plzen

Napoli exits the UEFA Europa League with a loss in the second leg to FC Viktoria Plzen from the Czech Republic. The game was played in the Czech Republic, and the final score was 2-0.

ESPN reported that Napoli was kept in another shut out. The Italian club, which is a Serie A candidate to win the title in Italy, could not find the net with a goal.

Napoli came to the Czech Republic with three goals down, from the first leg game played last week. That game at home made many soccer analysts open their eyes to Plzen.

The Azzurri team is now out of international competition, which is considered to be an early exit. Napoli was expected to make it farther in the Europa League.

The Italian club will now concentrate on winning the Serie A title, since it is the only event it can participate for the rest of the year.

As for FC Viktoria Plzen, it moves on into the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League. There it will face Turkish club Fenerbahce.
