Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain saves the day for SSC Napoli, as he scored the lone goal in stoppage time against Torino FC.

As reported by ESPN Deportes on Monday, Napoli visited Torino and won with a goal scored in the last moments of the game. The game was statistically almost even; unfortunately, for Torino, Napoli managed to get the victory thanks to leading goal scorer Higuain.

SSC Napoli is trying to stay in the fight for the Serie A title. The game against Torino FC was round 28 and will have 10 more games to catch up to Juventus FC who is the current leader.

However, Juventus is 17 points away from Napoli who is tied with 58 points and in second place with AS Roma. If Juventus wins five or more games, then it will be impossible for Napoli and Roma to win the Scudetto.

The goal for Gonzalo Higuain was his 15th goal for the season. He is the leading scorer for the Italian team from Naples.

SSC Napoli will face fourth placed Fiorentina on Sunday for round 29 of the Italian Serie A.
