Napoli wins 4-1 over AS Roma on Sunday in round 19 and moves up to third place in the Serie A table, seven points away from first place Juventus FC.
The goals for Napoli were scored by Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani, getting a hat trick, and midfielder Christian Maggio.
Argentine striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo scored for AS Roma in the 72th minute. Even though the goal put Roma on the board, the hope to tie the game was a little late.
Roma also received a red card at the 74th minute right after Osvaldo scored. The red was given to Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
It was after the red card that Napoli was able to take advantage with another goal during stoppage time, made by Maggio.
The loss puts AS Roma out of contention for any international tournaments to be played next year. Only the top five teams, at the end of the season, get to participate in either the UEFA Champions or Europa League.
