What do you think of when you hear the words "Napalm" and "Death"? Probably burning Vietnamese carcasses, disgusting riffs on a double-neck guitar, and blowing shit up. Good - that's exactly what it means. And there's a reason why Napalm Death appears on the T-Shirts and inspirations lists of other successful hardcore metal bands.
Napalm Death is a band that was established back in 1981, but an interesting thing to note is that NONE of the original members are still in the band. The Napalm Death I'm referring to and that most people are probably familiar with has vocalist Mark Greenway, guitarist Mitch Harris, bassist Shane Embury, and drummer Danny Herrera.
They have several great music videos that are only a YouTube search away - and I'd recommend the song "Well All is Said and Done". It may be a little more well-known than their other songs, but the band isn't exactly underground anyways. The song's lyrics go,
"Heartless - divine blueprints of hatred
Selfless - Diseased masterplans
Shameless - the powers that butcher
Ignorant to the deeds that they commit..."
I'm sure most of you have already been listening to Napalm Death for years or at least know of them, but for those of you who haven't been, it's worth the 3 minutes of your life. Who knows, you might just discover your new favorite metal band?
