Naomi Watts is nominated for a 2013 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. She is nominated for her impossibly heart wrenching role in the movie, “The Impossible,” based on the true story of one of the worst natural disasters of our lifetime. She goes up against Jennifer Lawrence (“Silver Linings Playbook”), Helen Mirren (“Hitchcock”), Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”) and Marion Cotillard (“Rust and Bone”).
Known for her talent and her style, Watts is usually a red carpet favorite. She maintains a consistently fabulous red carpet style with an underlying minimalist theme in every look. She knows what works for her body and she sticks with it. For this year’s SAG Awards red carpet, we are hoping she continues where she left off at the Golden Globes. We love her in color but she also knows exactly how to accessorize and work it in black.
She has stunned time and time again on this year’s red carpet. Her most stylish moment of recent history was on the Golden Globes 2013 red carpet where the actress nailed it from every angle in gorgeous Zac Posen dress with a sexy keyhole detail. She accessorized her winning look with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, Casadei heels, and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch. Watt’s Golden Globes dress is now available for pre-order at Neiman Marcus.
The actress also stunned on the Critics’ Award red carpet in a strapless black Emilio Pucci dress, Nicholas Kirkwood heels, Irene Neuwirth jewels and an Edie Parker clutch.
The big fashion question for the SAG awards is whether she will top the Golden Globes. We are betting on bold color.
The SAG awards will air live at 8 p.m. EST on Jan. 27 on TNT and TBS.
