Naomi Watts, went through some harrowing times to get ready for her latest film, “Fair Game,” in which she plays the US spy, Valerie Plame.
As part of her training, to get into the mindset of a spy, the studio arranged for her to go through the real CIA training at the US Central Intelligence Agency training facility, according to Showbizspy.
As soon as her producer left the facility, she was knocked to the ground and kicked in the shins making her wince. She was told the word “ow” should not come out of her mouth again unless she needs to go to the hospital.
It did not matter that she was there just to learn the ropes to make a movie. She was temporarily indoctrinated into CIA for all intensive purposes. This was to insure she was going to give the most accurate representation of Valrie Plame as humanly possible. The real Valerie was a spy until 2003.
Naomi Watts was made to watch the most gruesome half hour movie on graphic deaths and the different ways that people are killed.
She was handcuffed with her hands behind her back and thrown into a truck. Her mission was to get out of this alive.
The training was emotionally and physically draining on Naomi Watts, but what you will be seeing on the screen will be a realistic imitation of what goes on in the world of a US spy.
In another recent venture, Naomi Watts and Daniel Craig are co-stars in “Dream House,” a movie whose setting is in a small town in Connecticut. It is about a family who relocates into this house in a small town in Connecticut and find out that a family had been slaughter in the residence.
