Naomi Campbell was brutally attacked on the streets of Paris. During the attack, Campbell was robbed and received an injury to her leg.
A group of thugs approached the supermodel as she was hailing a cab. According to Campbell, she was “knocked over and robbed.”
The New York Post reported that Naomi Campbell suffered “a torn ligament in the incident, which she reported to French authorities.” A source close to Campbell spoke with the New York Post regarding the attack.
The source revealed that, “It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out, and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone. She was attacked in the street as she hailed a cab and robbed.”
“Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up.”
Vladimir Doronin, Campbell’s billionaire boyfriend, immediately put Naomi in a private jet and flew her to Vail, Colorado. While in Vail, she received treatment from one of the top orthopedic surgeons, J. Richard Steadman.
Steadman is the founder of the Steadman Clinic. A premiere orthopedic clinic that has treated a number of athletes. Doronin has stepped up Campbell’s security as a result of the attack.
The French police are still investigating the incident and have requested that Campbell not speak publically about the situation. Even though Campbell has been seen in a wheelchair and using crutches, she hasn’t given any interviews or commented on what happened.
