Staten Island nanny Mamura Nasirova is under arrest after a hidden camera captured her slapping a baby, according to a Feb. 6 Daily Mail report.
The 52-year-old was captured on a hidden camera planted by Mrs Mardakhaev, the mother of the 5-month-old baby. Mardakhaev had reportedly grown suspicious of Nasirova and had put a nanny cam inside the home’s carbon monoxide detector that was synched up to a live feed.
On Jan. 28, the mother who was at her job, was watching a live feed from the hidden camera when she saw Nasirova slap her daughter three times in the face for refusing to eat. In addition to the three slaps to the face, Nasirova reportedly shook the baby and slapped her legs. Mardakhaev, then rushed home and confronted Nasirova.
The parents filed a police report on Feb. 1 and Nasirova was arrested two days later at the family's home. Nasirova is now under investigation for endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest. She is locked up at Rikers Island, according to a spokesman for Staten Island District Attorney’s office.
