Nancy Pelosi takes jab at President Obama

Is there a rift between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Barack Obama? According to a report on Politico.com some people thinks so, including Democrat leadership aides in the House.

Observers say Pelosi is more than a bit peeved with the president over pressure to accept the Senate health care reform bill as is. Immediately after leaving a meeting with leadership aides and commitee chairs on Tuesday Pelosi headed for the cameras. She took the opportunity to throw a jab at President Obama.

The topic of questioning was C-SPAN CEO Brian lamb's request to televise the final round of health care talks.

It is well known on Capitol Hill that Pelosi has absolutely no intention of allowing the talks to be televised, in spite of Tuesday's declaration that the health care process has been the most transparent legislative process in history.

The Politco report goes on to say that  Senior House Democratic leadership aides claim Pelosi was  referring to Obama’s campaign pledge not to raise taxes on the middle class. Pelosi reportedly interprets that to include a tax on so-called "Cadillac" health care plans. That tax is included in the Senate bill.

If this woman doesn't have mental problems then no one does. Just look at her eyes next time you see her at the podium. Then go visit a mental ward. You'll see the same empty, glazed, far way stare on many of the patients. There is nothing behind those eyes.
