Digital Extremes and Namco Bandai have released a special behind the scenes/making of video from for their upcoming adaptation, Star Trek The Game, based in the continuity set up in the 2009 reboot directed by J.J. Abrams.
Featuring an original story written by Marianne Krawczyk, the upcoming game will have players take on various challenges faced by the crew of the Enterprise, allowing them to play as either Kirk or Spock through co-operative gameplay. While players will not be able to switch between the two characters in single player mode, co-op will allow gamers to play using a varied catalog of moves and abilities with Kirk being the better sharpshooter of the two while Spock employs stealthier tactics throughout the missions.
Star Trek The Game is will arrive on April 23 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
