A naked man was found in the snow in frigidly freezing temperatures Thursday Dec. 12, 2013. He was sleeping inside of a guitar case. A couple that were tending to their cattle found the man near the town of Muskogee. He seemed to appear very cold but none the less alive.
Of course the couple questioned the man to find out how he managed to be in this situation. The man stated he was going to meet a girl and had to walk 25 miles from Gore to Checotah. He was fully aware it was already snowing and cold; and he preceded to set off on his way. Along his journey he fell through a frozen pond, stripped his clothes off, and was left in his wet boxers. He figured the guitar case would keep him warmer than standing there cold in his underwear. I see one good decision here and maybe the only one in the whole story.
Police do believe the man was on some type of substance when they found him. He received treatment and was let go to continue about his way and we hope he makes smarter choices in the future.
What was he on? Most likely "the good stuff".
