A group had to act quickly when a bathhouse in China was engulfed in flames, and naked bathers had to flee the fire. The Daily Mail shared the details of the incident in Leqing, Zhejiang province that left many scrambling, six injured, and unfortunately one dead.
The fire started in an apartment in the same block as the bathhouse and those in the establishment at the time did not even have time to grab their clothing. The naked bathers fled the fire and covered themselves up outside as well as they could as the fire fighters battled the blaze.
A spokesman for the city fire service shared that an apartment kitchen gas pipe fractured and exploded, so the fire spread quite quickly. He added that they were lucky there weren't more fatalities. One customer said that he was in the tub when he heard screams and smelled smoke.
The bathhouse client says there was no time to get dressed, he just ran for his life. It's clear that was the reaction of others in the Leqing bathhouse as well, as the Daily Mail shares several shots showing the naked bathers fleeing the fire and then watching the blaze as they tried to cover themselves up a bit.
