Naeem Khan is one of most eagerly awaited designers during Fashion Week, whose exquisite details and painstakingly elaborate work never cease to amaze. Khan's Spring/Summer 2014 collection lives upto the standards he has set up - the pieces all rich and luxurious and gloriously embellished. His Spring/Summer 2014 was influenced by romance and vibrant colors of Latin culture. The stage itself had the background of a south American rainforest. Khan picked up inspiration from Spanish Rose - a symbol of love and beauty - to integrate its several hues and shades in his dresses. True to his signature style, his gowns were embellished with various techniques of embroidery. There were jet and topaz beaded gowns, silk dresses with floral appliques, pearl encrusted bodices, tulle and taffeta ball gowns and hand painted abstract stripes dress channeling Mexican tiles print. The collection was made keeping celebrity red carpets in mind but there were ample cocktail dresses too. The finale gown of the collection was a stunning wedding gown with a chapel length veil -announcing the soon-to-be launched Naeem Khan bridal line.
