Nadya Suleman using medicinal marijuana; does Medi-Cal pay for Suleman's high?

Nadya Suleman, also known as ‘Octomom,’ consumes baked goods containing medicinal marijuana which she uses to treat her anxiety condition, TMZ reported on Feb. 21.

Sources close to the mother of 14 say that Nadya has a medical marijuana card which allows her to receive baked goods containing medicinal marijuana. Allegedly Suleman received the medical marijuana card just two days after leaving rehab for a Xanax addiction.

Nadya Suleman, who was forced to back on welfare when porn and stripping didn't pay the bills, receives Medi-Cal, which is California’s Medicaid program. This leads to the question, is Nadya’s medicinal marijuana paid for by the state of California?

Sources revealed to TMZ that “Octomom” ingests the pot, which is embedded in cookies and other baked goods, both at home and on the road during appearances. Nadya, who is the primary caregiver for her 14 children, claims she does not smoke when the nannies are around, which leads to the assumption that Suleman only gets high when she is home alone with the children.

Even though “Octomom” is consuming a controlled substance while alone with her octuplets and other six children, she does not feel her brood is at risk, even when she is not all there because she is high from medicinal marijuana.
