According to a TMZ report Sunday, Octomom is getting $1,800 a month for food and $1,000 in emergency cash, in addition to Medi-Cal benefits for mental health and dental issues.
Nadya Suleman had been off welfare for five months, after making a "masturbation porn" video and various appearances that paid the bills for a while. However, her visit to rehab in October diminished her savings.
“She was prescribed Xanax for her anxiety attacks. She was not addicted to it. She has an overabundance of stress and exhaustion and wanted to deal with it without prescription drugs,” Rodriguez told the ABCNews.com at the time.
Octomom was nominated for four Adult Video News awards. AVN awards are considered the "Oscars of porn," and to be a four-time nominee and mother of 14 has to be some kind of first.
“My choice to go back on assistance is only a temporary one," she said. "At this time my family needs the medical, dental and food assistance because it is so expensive.”
Suleman, 37, does not have to make a $2,500 rent payment on her family’s new gorgeous 5,000-square-foot two-story home in Palmdale, California, until April.
The mother of 14 kids, including the octuplets that gave her that classy nickname, received death threats last spring for collecting welfare and eventually said she weaned herself off of it.
