NAC women's basketball tournament schedule

Cheyenne Malloy came off the bench to score 14 points in leading the Maine Maritime women's basketball team to a 52-48 victory over the University of Maine at Farmington (UMF) Beavers at Dearborn gym in Farmington on Sunday afternoon.

The two teams will face each other again on Tuesday evening in the quarterfinal round of the North Atlantic Conference tournament.

Maine Maritime enters the tournament on a five game winning streak.

Husson will host New England college in the 4/5 match-up.

The teams split during the regular season.

Thomas will take on top seeded Castleton in a quarterfinal game on Tuesday.

The only regular season conference loss for Castleton came against second seeded Colby-Sawyer.

Quarterfinals- Tuesday, February 25th

  • G2- #5 New England College 62 (10-8) @ #4 Husson 77 (13-5)- 5:30 p.m.
  • G3- #7 Johnson State 49 (7-11) @ #2 Colby-Sawyer 74 (15-3)- 5:30 p.m.
  • G4- #6 UMF 53 (10-8) @ #3 Maine Maritime 59 (13-5)- 6:30 p.m.

Semifinals- Friday, February 28th- @ Castleton

  • G5- Castleton VS Husson- 6 p.m.
  • G6- Colby-Sawyer VS Maine Maritime- 8 p.m.

Championship- Saturday, March 1st- @ Castleton

  • G7- G5 winner VS G6 winner
