NAACP: All Kenneth Gladney Has to Do is File a Complaint

The Move-On-Up.org press conference went really well. We had the CBS, FOX, & NBC television affiliates there, along with the St. Louis Post Dispatch, News Talk radio KMOX, and the local NPR station. Kenneth and the St. Louis NAACP president agreed to a metting where Kenneth plans to fie a complaint. The next question is: "how thorough will this investigation be.?" For all of my detractors, this was a press conference, NOT A RALLY, we weren't expecting a lot of people on a rainy Monday morning! The press was well represented and that's all that matters at a press conference.

The St. Louis Branch of the NAACP will and does accept and investigate all written complaints filed with us, regardless of the complainants ideology. We regret that a group has decided to protest outside of our office, before contacting us or filing such a complaint.

This is particularly unfortunate because it is well known that our office is closed during this time of respect for the passing of one of our most renown leaders, Margaret Bush Wilson.

We will re-open Wednesday August 19, 2009

Thanks so much for your indulgence during this period.

Claude Brown Sr.
President
